Guests at Television Centre’s recently opened White City House had a pleasant surprise as Prince Charles and Camilla stopped off for tea and cakes. The Royal couple were visiting White City for the first year anniversary of the e-commerce fashion brand Yoox Net-A-Porter, based at White City Place where they were given a tour of the facilities and heard of the fashion companies exciting expansion plans.  Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cambridge also met up with BFC CEO Caroline Rush and Yoox Net-A-Porter Group’s CEO Federico Marchetti as part of the BFC'S Positive Fashion Initiative.

Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cambridge saw first-hand the future of online shopping - alongside Rush and Marchetti, the royal visitors were given an insight into how artificial intelligence will be used to create a unique prototype homepage. In this instance it tapped into the royals' diaries.

Television Centre is the newest development to open in White City and is the keystone to development company Stanhope’s regeneration of the area. A mixed use space it has restaurants, bars, television studios and businesses on-site and recently announced that the media conglomerate Publicis Media will be moving six of its UK brands to the development.

White City House is the latest branch of the popular private members club Soho House, it is in the largest club in the Soho House portfolio and has a restaurant, swimming pool, gym and hotel on-site.
