Crowds head for White City Place as Royal College of Art graduate exhibition previews


Guest flocked to White City Place on Tuesday 19 June for a private view of ‘Show Communication’, the 2018 Royal College of Art graduate show. Attendees enjoyed the thriving atmosphere as they gained an exclusive look at the pioneering contemporary art and design. The exhibition, from the most prestigious postgraduate course in the country, will welcome visitors from Saturday 23 June until Sunday 1 July.

This year’s show celebrates graduate ability, exploring themes of animation, information experience design, virtual reality, illustration and visual communications, showcasing current and future trends in contemporary art. The two-hour preview featured topics as diverse as British hen party culture and stigmas around mental health and crowds of excited guests took pleasure in the opportunity to spot the big names of arts future

Renowned for combining quality, imagination and skill, the show features work by over 800 emerging artists and designers, showcased across four venues, White City, Battersea, Vauxhall and Kensington. All exhibitions are free, with opportunities to buy fresh, creative art for sale or commission.
