A nutritionally-informed chef and hormonal health PT coach, Moon founded her business Kult Kitchen and Fitness to share her healthy recipes, learnings and inspiration. Grounded in the idea of food as medicine, her recipes focus on organic whole foods, avoiding refined ingredients, gluten, and processed seed oils and sugars to promote gut health and overall well-being, while not compromising on flavour, which is at the forefront of Kult’s mission.

Her deep connection with White City began during her formative years growing up in the area, attending Holland Park School, spending time with friends at Westfield, and later becoming a member of the Soho Friends Committee at White City House. Now living and working in Portobello, she has become a vocal advocate for food education and ingredient transparency, labelling healthy products as ‘Kult approved’ to complement her holistic nutritional guidance, catering, fitness, and wellbeing services. Committed to making nutritious, wholesome food accessible to all, she actively collaborates with Eat Club charity, offering food education through community cooking programs for children at youth centres and underserved adults. Her efforts empower communities to make informed, healthy choices, regardless of socioeconomic status.

Commissioned to create a recipe infused with the flavours of the area, Moon responded with an educational short series that touches on themes of sustainable seasonal nutrition and community. With the vibrant diversity and rich history of Television Centre and White City as her starting point, she pondered the impact of shows such as MasterChef and The Great British Bake Off on her exploration of culinary techniques, while incorporating her heritage as rooted in the Caribbean diaspora in the area. Sourcing authentic, seasonal and organic ingredients for her naturopathic cooking in Notting Hill Farmers and Shepherd’s Bush Market, she shaped the piece around her grandmother, an active member of the local community and former chef at The Globe in Notting Hill. Taking into account her Kult commitments to sustainable farming and eating with the seasons, the final piece is a Caribbean classic executed with her unique spin.
Moon Bedeaux created a warming, nutrient-rich dish infused with Caribbean flavours and guided by the principles of food as medicine.

“The concept was inspired by the interwoven histories of migration, community, and nourishment that flavour West London’s dynamic food culture.”

Tell us about your work

“I aim to educate, coach, and empower women especially, to make mindful, nourishing food choices that support their hormonal health and fitness goals—helping them feel nourished rather than restricted. I also prioritise the importance of cyclical living, seasonal, sustainable eating, regenerative farming, and the importance of grass-fed meat in my approach. Through nourishing high-vibrational whole foods, mindful recipes, and energising movement practices, let’s embrace the transformative power of food as medicine and movement together.”

What fuels your process and professional life?

“My work is inspired by a deep desire to create beautiful, nourishing food that fuels both body and soul. I focus on (but not exclusively) empowering women to flourish in today’s demanding world, demonstrating how delicious, healthy dishes and simple lifestyle changes can lead to radical health and transformation. Driven by a passion to educate, I also conduct youth cooking programs in West London and surrounding areas to teach the next generation about proper nutrition and food sustainability.”

How does West London inspire you?

“My favourite things about the area are Holland Park and Portobello Road’s vintage market. I love finding unique gems, and Portobello is one of the best places to discover unexpected treasures. Holland Park is also a gorgeous spot, and I have fond memories of spending a lot of time there, as I attended school nearby.

“The creative community is drawn to West London for its vibrant culture, history, and inspiring settings. White City’s modern developments being White City house and TVC, as well media hubs such as the BBC foster innovation, while Notting Hill’s iconic markets and bohemian charm offer rich cultural heritage. Both areas are filled with galleries, boutiques, and creative spaces, making them ideal for artistic expression.”
