FAR Studio designed show apartment launches

Far Studio 1

Paying homage to the rich cultural heritage of Television Centre, up-and-coming Interior Designer Franky Ridgeon, Founder of FAR Studio, has expertly transformed one of the 3-bed premium apartments, situated in the Grade-II listed Helios, into a colourful oasis.

Inspired by her experience working with British tastemakers Suzy Hoodless and Kit Kemp of Firmdale Hotels, Franky Ridgeon has created an aesthetic that combines the luxury of a boutique hotel with the comforts of a modern home. Applying creative elements synonymous with hospitality design has resulted in a striking selection of textiles and colour palettes throughout the three-bedroom duplex apartment.

Franky Ridgeon of FARstudio commented: “Craft has become even more important to us, being able to see the process involved including the imperfections. People want to feel comfortable and at ease and it is the small details that we enjoy so much. I took great joy in sourcing the accessories for the apartment at Television Centre, such as the handmade lampshade by Rosi de Ruig, African artisanal baskets by Hadeda and cushions by Wicklewood.”

Helios Apartment 710 is one architects Piercy&Company designs for the most premium apartments in  the scheme: The Architects’ Series. The three-bedroom apartment sits over two floors, offering a dual aspect to the east and west and views of the London skyline beyond the Grade-II listed Helios statue in the Television Centre courtyard.

Helios Apartment 710 is a 3-bedroom duplex premium apartment of 2,202 sq.ft (205 sq.m) and is available to buy unfurnished for £3,350,000.
