On 30^th November Councillor Sharon Holder announced Hammersmith and Fulham’s bid to become the London Borough of Culture 2025. Launched by the London Mayor in 2017, winning councils receive £1.5m funding and support for their cultural programmes.

Holder hopes to shine a light on Hammersmith and Fulham’s vibrant culture, diverse communities and distinctive cultural history. Winning the bid would provide greater connection for communities to the cultural sectors and talent opportunities of London and the World.

Television Centre is proud to be a signatory on the bid and endeavours to support the local council in the bid’s success moving forward.
