Television Centre Live: Sounds like Summer returns for the third year running with a series of FREE events from June to September, co-hosted by local cultural partners.
Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy our iconic site and creative community, including workshops, live music, artist markets, artists showcases and film screenings.
Check out what’s on below:
Workshops:
Kicking off on 18th June, west London creative Hanna Whiteman will be hosting a Botanical Painting Workshop on 2TVC terraces, from 12:30-13:30. Participants will have the opportunity to use richly textured Indian rag paper and gouache paints to create their own botanical-inspired artwork.
Our series of crafty workshops continues throughout the summer, with Kite Studios hosting a Tote Bag Art Workshop on 25th June and a Relief Printing Workshop on 3rd September. Both sessions will take place on the 2TVC Terraces from 12:30-13:30, offering the chance to explore new techniques and create your own unique tote bag design.
For something a little different, don’t miss our Intro to Perfumery Workshop with up-and-coming perfumers Deya on 24 July. From 12:30 to 13:30, you’ll discover the art of crafting scents—from natural extraction to the balance between synthetic and botanical ingredients—and finish the session with your own personal creations on scent blotters.

Live Music:
West London has always been a hub for musical talent. In 2025, local music legends Next Door Records (NDR) will return, hosting FREE live DJ sessions on the Forecourt on Thursday 19th June and Thursday 4th September, from 16:30, in partnership with Voices Radio.
Make sure to catch live Next Door Sessions performances from London’s rising musicians, Charles (@whereisCharles) and Bert (@bert.uk), where the Forecourt will be transformed into Next Door Record’s record shop and broadcast live. Enjoy these groovy sounds whilst sipping on NDR’s signature cocktails or a refreshing drinks from Television Centre’s mobile bar, serviced by The Broadcaster.
For something a little funkier, join us on 20th August from 12:30-14:00 for a live performance by local collective Malombo Music Association, bringing infectious rhythms and energy to the Forecourt.
Film Screenings:
On 17th July (17:30-20:30), pull up a beanbag or deck chair and watch a FREE original film screening created by local artist incubators and White City Place resident, HQI. Hosted on the Big Screen, the event will feature a collection of short works by emerging filmmakers, followed by a feature-length screening of Samsara.
Catch curated films on the Forecourt in partnership with the film platform Deeper into Movies, such as the cult-classic Empire, by Andy Warhol with a live performance of Philip Glass by Fiachra Garvey on Thursday 31st July (17:30-20:00). Or join us for the avant-garde documentary wonder, News from Home, by Chantal Akerman, on Thursday 21st August too.
Delicious food and drinks will be provided by the Broadcaster from Television Centre’s pop-up bar across all film screening dates.

Throughout the day there will be live music hosted by local icons, Next Door Records, and delicious food and drink provided by The Broadcaster from the pop-up bar.
Art Showcases:
This summer, we’re proud to partner with the Royal College of Art for two FREE Artist Showcase events on the Forecourt. On 23rd July and 10th September, from 17:30 – 20:00, we’ll be screening a curated selection of the best animated works from students of the RCA School of Communication on the Big Screen.
