Join us on Thursday 31st July for a special screening of Andy Warhol’s Empire, presented by Deeper Into Movies. Hosted on the forecourt, this free open-air screening showcases avant-garde cinema with a live Philip Glass performance from pianist Fiachra Garvey.

Filmed in 1964, Empire consists of a single, static shot of the Empire State Building from dusk to nightfall. One of Warhol’s most well-known experimental works, the film offers a prolonged observation of the iconic structure.

The screening will be accompanied by live music from Fiachra Garvey, performing compositions by Philip Glass. Glass’s minimalist style complements the slow, meditative pace of the film, providing a fitting soundtrack to the New York skyline.

Refreshing drinks will be available throughout the evening from The Broadcaster’s pop-up bar, serving cocktails, mocktails, and craft beers.
