Television Centre welcomes local school choirs for festive music

ShareTelevision Centre invites the local community to get into the winter spirit as two local schools sing carols this December!
To kick off the festive tunes, Hurlingham Academy Choir, with members aged 11- 15 and who sang at The Royal Albert Hall, Southwark Cathedral and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, will be performing on Tuesday 5th December. St George’s Catholic School choir, with members ranging from 11 – 18 and beginners to semi-professional singers, will be performing on Tuesday 12th December next to the giant Christmas tree.
Both schools have been eagerly rehearsing their set of festive music ready to welcome you into the winter season. St George’s Catholic School will be raising money for the Cardinal Hulme Centre, a charity dedicated to supporting the young people escape homelessness in the borough of Westminster.
Head on down to TVC at midday on the 5th and 12th December to experience the seasonal atmosphere and enjoy some live music.
