Pupils from Wormholt Park Primary School had a day to remember at Television Centre, where they participated in a series of engaging environmental workshops organised by PVH Corp and the site’s dedicated gardening team.

The sessions, running throughout the day, saw groups of pupils each exploring the world of upcycling and the importance of biodiversity. Chantelle from PVH kicked off the workshops by providing an educational background on upcycling and how small efforts can make a significant impact on our planet’s health.

Children then had the opportunity to unleash their creativity, decorating bee hives and bug bricks that will soon be used to support the local wildlife. Guided by Television Centre’s head gardener, Andy, the pupils embarked on a “walk and talk” tour of the stunning TVC grounds, learning about the area’s plants and ecology.

The day concluded with the children placing their beautifully decorated bee hives and bug bricks around the Television Centre estate. Some of these creations were also taken back to Wormholt Park Primary to help promote sustainability and environmental awareness at the school.

The workshops aimed to inspire a love of nature and a commitment to protecting the environment among the younger generation.
