This festive season, Television Centre’s neighbours at the Lyric Theatre in Hammersmith present Jack and the Giant Beanstalk, a modern take on a panto classic.

It’s Jack and Jill’s first day at Fleshcreep Academy, the strictest school in Hammersmith, and trouble isn’t far behind. With their mum causing chaos in the school kitchen and a headteacher who sends unruly pupils “to the giant”, Jack soon finds himself on a mission that will take him to unexpected heights.

Written by Sonia Jalaly and directed by Nicholai La Barrie, the creative team behind last year’s sell-out Aladdin, this new production promises great music and festive spirit.
