The White City Social Value Steering Group Hosts Fourth Meeting
May 6, 2026
ShareThe White City Social Value Steering Group held their fourth meeting, and the first in-person, at the Studio, White City Place.
With over forty attendees and insightful presentations from QPR FC, Urban Partnerships Group, Gravity Media, and 1000 Black Boys, the meeting was a huge success.
The Steering Group was established following a local needs analysis undertaken by Stanhope, the asset managers of Television Centre and White City Place, which identified three key themes of local social value need: People, Prosperity and Place.
Since then, the Steering Group has invited businesses, charities, schools and community organisations, including BBC Studios, L’Oreal, Imperial College London, Westfield, Young Hammersmith and Fulham Foundation, to present practical examples of how they are responding to these needs, share successful initiatives and tools, and explore opportunities to connect and collaborate with one another.
The next Steering Group meeting will be held in July, where the first White City Social Value Steering Group Report will be presented. This will be a comprehensive showcase of all social value activity across White City Place over the past year.
We look forward to celebrating the incredible impact made by our community and continuing to grow these vital connections.
