In recognition of Mental Health Awareness week, Television Centre was proud to host the start line for Suicide & Co’s Creds Media Half Marathon on 14 May.

During Mental Health Awareness Week, over 100 runners from across the media industry laced up their trainers and took on a half marathon to raise vital funds for this incredible cause. Together, they raised over £50,000, which is enough to fund more than 1,666 counselling sessions for those navigating the devastating impact of suicide loss.

Suicide & Co is a UK-based charity providing professional, one-to-one bereavement counselling with qualified therapists for adults who have lost a loved one to suicide. Alongside their counselling services, they offer a mobile app and online tools featuring personalised resources and community spaces like “Words Unspoken” to help individuals process their grief.

A huge congratulations to every runner who took on the challenge and helped raise awareness to such an important cause.
