Television Centre Live Returns for Summer 2026

Television Centre Live: Sounds like Summer returns for its fourth consecutive year, transforming our forecourt into a hub of culture, creativity and community. From June to September, join us for a programme of free live music, outdoor cinema, creative workshops, gaming afternoons and market days, all co-hosted with local artists and partners who call White City home.

Film Screenings:
Join us on the forecourt for free outdoor cinema this cinema. On Thursday 11 June, the screenings open with a selection of original short films from local artists in partnership with HQI, followed by a feature screening of the iconic concert film PNYC: Portishead – Roseland New York. On Thursday 30 July, pull up a chair for Peter Gabriel: Live in Athens.
The Broadcaster will be running a pop-up bar across both evenings. All screenings start at 17:30–20:00, book your free spot now.
Looking for a lunchtime escape? Afternoon at the Movies brings free midday film screenings to the forecourt in August. Settle in, enjoy a film on the big screen and take a proper break from the working week. Join us on Wednesday 6 August and Wednesday 13 August, both running 12:00–14:00. Featured films to be announced soon.
RE: Work Market:
HQI returns for our flagship summer market: the RE:Work & Vintage Market on Saturday 20 June, 11:00 – 16:00.
Browse an eclectic mix of independent and vintage fashion brands, or bring your own clothes to be reworked into something new on the day. With live music from West London’s Next Door Records and drinks from The Broadcaster. Vendors include Serotonin Vintage, No Licence, heavens sake, knitcheck, anUSUAL paper and alice d.
Live Music:
West London music legends Next Door Records (NDR) return to the forecourt for two evening sessions, both running 17:00–20:00. On Thursday 25 June, NDR Live brings London’s rising DJs to the forecourt for a live set — the perfect after-work soundtrack. Then on Thursday 23 July, NDR Sessions transforms the forecourt into an intimate live music venue for an evening of acoustic performances from London’s rising artists, including ELI and DUCCBOD. The Broadcaster’s mobile bar will be serving across both evenings . Grab a drink from the mobile bar and enjoy the music on the forecourt.
Workshops:
West London creative Hache for Hanna is back with two free lunchtime workshops to brighten up your working week, each running 12:00–14:00. On Thursday 16 July, the Lino & Print Workshop invites you to personalise your own make-up bag using lino prints. Pick a motif, choose your colour and print in just 10–15 minutes, with all materials provided. The series continues on Tuesday 25 August with the Ink & Flow Workshop, where you’ll create a beautiful textured print to take home using a masking fluid resist technique on cotton paper. Add inks and salts to reveal a stunning, one-of-a-kind design, all in under 15 minutes. Both workshops are free — register now to secure your spot.
The Screen Showdowns:
The Screen Showdowns bring free lunchtime gaming sessions to the forecourt every Tuesday from 21st July into August. Whether you’re a seasoned player or a curious newcomer, come and take part in friendly competition on the big screen. Sessions run 12:00–14:00 on 21st July, 28th July, 4th August and 11th August.
Art Showcases:
We’re partnering with the Royal College of Art for two free student showcase evenings this summer. Join us for a night of creative immersion as the RCA’s graduating School of Communication students take over our outdoor Big Screen, showcasing their digital works. Plus, catch sneak previews throughout the season during advert breaks on the Big Screen. Drinks will be served at The Broadcaster’s pop-up bar.
