Local Arts Market celebrates summer of creativity at Television Centre

On 31st August, Television Centre hosted the much-anticipated 2024 Local Arts Market, the pinnacle of the Television Centre Live summer series.

The market drew a crowd of over 1000 visitors, who came to explore the diverse items from more than 30 local independent artists. The market featured a wide range of beautifully crafted, handmade goods, including illustrations, ceramics, vintage clothing, jewellery, and textiles, showcasing the creative talent in the local community.

Live music from local group Next Door Records added to the day’s buzzing atmosphere, providing a soundtrack of rhythmic tunes. The Broadcaster’s mobile bar kept everyone refreshed, serving a range of summery drinks.
