ShareIn another positive sign of the establishment of White City as a place for living and working, global cosmetics giant L’Oréal will be moving to a new bespoke office building at White City Place in 2023.
The world’s largest cosmetics company – and No.1 beauty player in the UK – becomes the latest internationally renowned business to be making the move, joining current fashion and beauty-orientated firms inclusing designers Ralph & Russo, online luxury fashion retailer Yoox-Net-a-Porter and PR business The Communications Store.
The new 240,000 sq.ft building will be home to c.3,000 workers when full. In addition to 1,000 L’Oréal employees it will house the L’Oréal Academy, a flagship educational project which aims to train 10,000 new hairdressers a year from across the UK.
Vismay Sharma, Country Manager, L’Oréal UK and Ireland said: “The new building is at the heart of an energetic and creative campus at White City Place located next to Imperial College and Westfield London, a location which is reflective of our ambition to become the leading BeautyTech company.
Relocating our corporate headquarters is a unique opportunity to provide our employees with a workplace for tomorrow and a headquarters that best represents our creative and innovative company alongside our mission of beauty for all.”
David Camp, Chief Executive, Stanhope said: “We are delighted that L’Oréal has chosen to make a new building at White City Place as their new UK headquarters.
