Now Open: Aerial Rooftop At The Broadcaster

The Broadcaster1

Introducing a stunning new rooftop destination for Television Centre and West London with beautiful lounging sofas, hidden nooks and charming parasols. Aerial Rooftop is a sun-soaked place to drink, eat, chill out by day and party into the night, all while overlooking the city.

Aerial Rooftop at The Broadcaster, Television Centre’s contemporary pub, is now open. A major new membership-free rooftop bar, BBQ and meeting place for White City, it’s the first destination of its kind to launch in this dynamic, ever-developing neighbourhood.

Boasting views overlooking West London, considered design is at the heart of the space: a hallmark of creators Open House London, whose growing collection includes The Arber Garden in Fitzrovia and The Lighterman in King’s Cross.

Draped in gorgeous sage-green linens, and filled with plants and trees, the rooftop features terracotta tiles made in Marrakech, Garapa decking produced in Brazil and sailcloth awnings crafted in Italy. By day, it’s a place to sink into cushioned wicker sofas and take in the sun and scenes, while catching up with friends over cocktails or a bite to eat.

As the sun sets and dusk starts to fall, the atmosphere is transformed into an al fresco house party – complete with a rooftop fireplace, copper oil torches and ambient festoon lighting, setting the scene for an evening of live music, resident DJs and the weekend ‘Summer Sessions’ series.

And don’t worry if the weather turns: with heaters and cleverly placed protection from the elements, Aerial Rooftop is ready for whatever the British summer has to offer.

BAR AND BBQ

Aerial Rooftop is served by two bars, brimming with local beers, biodynamic wines and London’s best craft spirits. In signature style, the Open House mixology team has curated an excellent set of cosmopolitan cocktails to perfectly compliment the space and keep guests refreshed all summer long.

SUMMER SESSIONS

Over the coming months, Aerial Rooftop will host many of Open House’s ‘Summer Sessions’ event series, with live music, resident DJs, acoustic sessions, rooftop yoga, rosé pop-ups and chef takeovers.

For the hungry, in keeping with The Broadcaster’s focus on seasonal produce while welcoming the balmy summer months, Aerial Rooftop will launch with an evolving week-long BBQ menu. Stimulating the senses with the familiar smell of rich, sweet BBQ smoke and a selection of grilled specials prepared in front of you by our expert chefs, the menu will evoke fond memories of family BBQs. It’s a fitting approach from Open House London, whose philosophy Our House Is Your House has been a central inspiration behind the rooftop opening.

PRIVATE HIDEAWAYS & EXCLUSIVE HIRE

Aerial Rooftop has a beautiful enclosed private dining cove with a capacity of 20-seated and 30 standing.  complete with a wide-screen TV, dartboard, the option of a private bar, and views across West London. The rooftop can also be hired for exclusive use for private events such as birthdays, weddings, press events, launches, and more.
