Summer Screen Launched For Twelve-Weeks At Television Centre And White City Place In West London

ShareJoin us for twelve-weeks of art, cultural and sports programming on giant outdoor screens at Television Centre and White City Place. Highlights include screenings from Electric Cinema, Royal Opera House and Wimbledon. The free events will run until Sunday 2 September 2018.
Each Saturday at Television Centre, Electric Cinema presents will show a carefully-curated selection of films celebrating and exploring cultural phenomena, pivotal moments and pioneering figures. A separate film schedule will be showcased every Wednesday, featuring Dogtown and Z-Boys, a documentary exploring the birth of modern skateboarding; Exit Through the Gift Shop, the ground-breaking film from Banksy; and Prince’s Purple Rain.
Television Centre will also be showing all the action from Wimbledon and The Queen’s Club Championships, with Bluebird Café serving a tennis themed cocktail called The Centre Court and Homeslice and Patty & Bun operating pop-up stalls serving food and drinks to visitors.
It will also be bringing an acclaimed production from the Royal Opera House to its iconic forecourt this summer, Don Giovanni on Thursday 12 July.
