Television Centre Live kicked off yesterday with an evening of cinema and live music on the Forecourt.

Curated by local artist incubator HQI, the night opened with original short films, music videos and animations from seven emerging London talents — Harry Butt, Haich Ber Na, Lucy Ellis, Seren Forever, Lucy Luscombe, Sam Wood and Léa Porré.

Next up was PNYC: Portishead – Roseland New York, July 1997, the legendary trip-hop pioneers’ one-off Roseland Ballroom show backed by a full orchestra.

Guests settled into deckchairs on the lower forecourt, drinks from The Broadcaster’s pop-up bar in hand, for what turned out to be a quietly unforgettable night.

More events to come this summer, all free, all open to the public. Read more here: https://televisioncentre.com/news/television-centre-live-returns-for-summer-2026/
